God created us in his image? the physical body or mind?

I recently heard a theory that perhaps God we had to create his image, but God has not a physical body. What our mind is what he created in his image. What do you think that the theory and as a separate issue, it was reading "The Lost Symbol" by Dan Brown? And please no rude comments on this … this book does not say anything to anti-God. Do not try to prove God or the Bible … only say that perhaps it was the real meaning behind the words written there.

God created man in His image = Adam. Adam asked for a second and God created Eve, but he does not say in whose image if it has been created!
