College Students: What year are you and what is your living situation while in college?
Just finished my fourth year, so I’m basically done! I lived in a university residence for 3 years and in a bachelor apt off campus my fourth. Living in res was an amazing experience, I got paid to work there my second and third year so it helped me pay for school while having a confortable place to live. Most universities have RA or other leadership positions available to students in upper years, you should check it out!
I enjoyed living off campus as well but missed the proximity of having my friends concentrated in a handful of buildings on campus. Also, cooking and cleaning for myself was a pain when school work became frantic and I’d have preferred to spend most of my waking moments either studying like crazy or engaging in some activity to make me forget I was a student altogether!
