The DaVinci Code court battle?

Now that the Law suit verdict has been in Dan Brown’s favour – will it affect the sales of his book and bring more people to see the movie?

I once heard Mel Brooks say, something along the lines of, “you aren’t usually sued for plagerism if you write crap”. I’m not sure, but my using this statement may be plagerism.
