Do you know any great books?
I’ve already asked this question but i might get some more suggestions later on at night like now.
I loved Hunger Games and Vampire Academy! Love Jane Eyre and some other classics.
I recently read the bluebloods Series and i liked that. Loved Dan Brown.
Any recommendations … All are welcome.
I like most things. Action, romance, adventure, fantasy ect..
Please no Twilight as someone will be bound to recommend it. i do not like it because they are better books out there then twilight.
Can you tell me some that are not very well known but are very good books as i have read many well known books and classics. I’m looking for new stuff that are interesting and exciting.It would be great if you could help me.
I’m also 15 and female, not that it matters becasue i love action and most books that are stereotypically for males.
If you like the classics I could recommend a lot of very good books. I’ll start with Leo Tolstoy. He was an absolutely amazing author, often regarded as among the best of the best. You could start with some of his most well known short stories, such as The Death of Ivan llych, Family Happiness, The Kreutzer Sonata, Master and Man, the Cossacks, Childhood, Boyhood and Youth.. Usually you should be able to find one single book that contains a collection of many of his short stories. I particularly liked The Death of Ivan Ilych and Master and Man. These stories are all somewhat more on the philosophical side, i don’t know if you’ll enjoy that but i loved them, so just a suggestion. You could also try some of Tolstoy’s novels, such as Anna Karenina, War and Peace and Resurrection. Anna Karenina and War and Peace are often considered his masterpieces. Right now im in the middle of reading The Idiot by Fyodor Dostoevsky. I highly recommend this book. Its extremely captivating and you always want to know whats going to happen next. It could get a little confusing with the Russian names, but otherwise its an extremely good book. If you like action i would recommend 1984 by george orwell and also Anthem by Ayn Rand. I don’t know if you’re into historical fiction, but if so i would highly recommend The Pillars of The Earth by Ken Follett. This could be listed as action in a way, it also has a sequel called World Without End. I would also recommend The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, great book and it won much recognition. Another actiony type novel would be the classic The Lord of The Flies by William Golding. One last book ill recommend is Nation by Terry Pratchett. Its a young adults novel and many teenagers can really connect with and understand the characters and what they go through. I hope i helped, good luck, and keep reading its good for the brain.
