subliminal message CDs for self improvement using NLP?

does anyone know if these are for real? for example, this one claims to teach cantonese fast using subliminal messages:

A lot of students are curious about whether or not subliminal CD work. The answer is….no. However, there has been a lot of interesting studies on subliminal influence.
