What modern films will be considered classics in 50 years time?
I’m including films that have received mixed reviews or have been even bashed (within question, no Transformers). But also modern films that have received recognition today.

There Will Be Blood (2007)
Mystic River (2003)
Pirates of the Carribean: Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) (Entertaining and has a witty script, This generations Indiana Jones)
Boogie Nights (1997)
Pan’s Labyrinth (2006)
The Wrestler (2008)
The Dark Knight (2008) (Complex and Dark, Just because its a comic book adaptation doesn’t immediatly constitute it as ‘bad’)
Pulp Fiction (1994)

i dont think pirates, boogie nights, pan’s will be ‘classics’. but i know what you mean. a few of mine are the same
