KJV Bible only believers: What if a person doesn’t speak English?
Many say the KLV is the only translation of the Bible that should be used. Does that mean that they think a person in a foreign country should learn ENglish and only use the KJV?
Does that mean they should translate the KJV into their language? If that is the case, don’t you think it loses anything in translation?
Why do you think the KJV is most accurate when the English language is missing some of the verb forms that exist in Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic?
for the record, I use the KJV, but I do not think it is the only translation that is accurate. I do stay away from paraphrases, though.
That’s just it. Their reasoning is flawed.
(I have no idea where the myth that KJV is the only translation that is accurate came from, but it’s just plain silly to me.)
